Andy Himmel was excited about opening his first restaurant on Larchmere this month. Then, the ceiling collapsed.

Only weeks from the grand opening of Boulevard Blue, Himmel's dream was shattered as the walls came tumbling down.

Fortunately nobody was inside the building.

The good news is the owner of the building is going to rebuild, so Boulevard Blue restaurant is on hold.

Meanwhile, Himmel and executive chef Scott Wuennemann have been offered jobs at a spot in Put-in-Bay for the next several months.
